Well the one day that I hoped would never happen did.
I crashed the Z...For those that want to know the story, read on... I live in New York, the metro area. On my way to work into the city on the Long Island Expressway West-bound, I tried to switch out of the far right lane with a yellow cab in the lane I was going into. Thinking he would slow down, I signal and start going into the lane when he speeds up. My first reaction was to turn back into my original lane, when I did so I felt the rear slip out. In trying to correct it I ended up spinning out and sliding across all four lanes facing traffic, finally coming to a stop colliding with the middle wall. Now as far as damage goes, my rear right quarter panel is destroyed: tail light, bumper, aluminum reinforcement in pieces, fender is folded into itself. I'll post pics later, and see if I get an estimate on repairs. If its not, there's gonna be another N/A up for parts... I'm going to a local body shop for the estimate, is there anyone that can recommend a body shop in the New York area?
